BCCF Youth Farm Residency 2024
Our programming for BIPOC youth aged 15-29 is back this summer! The Black Creek Community Farm Youth Farm Residency will consist of youth from the Jane-Finch neighbourhood who are interested in developing leadership and instruction skills and learning about food justice, cooking and food preparation techniques, and environmental conservation through a train-the-trainer model.
The free program will provide refreshments, bus fare, an honorarium, and a safe food handling certificate.
Are you between the ages of 15 and 29, living in the Jane/Finch – Black Creek neighbourhood, and looking for a unique opportunity to learn, grow, and make a difference in your community this summer?
Black Creek Community Farm’s Youth Farm Residency will allow you to learn the basics of organic Market Gardening, and get the opportunity to make and take your produce to market!
