Halloween at the Farm 2019 Recap

This year marked our first annual Halloween at the Farm presented by BCCF. From 2 to 5 pm, little ghouls and boys were able to enjoy activities fit for the whole family. We had a Jack-O-Lantern carving station to see who could carve the spookiest pumpkin.

The farm also set up a costume swap station for those who wanted to trade a costume for one that’s new to them. What a big hit! We will definitely be doing this again and be sure to send out an earlier notice to families who would like to participate next year.

To keep everyone energized, we had food preservation demonstrations where visitors could sample preserved jams and apple cider from a homemade press! And if people got hungry for the sweet and savoury, s’mores, popcorn, and hot apple cider were for sale.

BCCF would like to thank everyone for coming out to our first ever Halloween on the Farm. And to our volunteers, thank you for helping make this event possible. We can’t wait to see you all next year. Click below to see some of our favourite photos from the day.
