A very special treat is coming your way this fall – a BCCF x ChocoSol collab featuring heirloom Kakai pumpkins!
2018 will be the first season that we grow pumpkins at the farm. These heirloom pumpkins produce uniquely rich tasting and hull-less seeds. We are growing them in partnership with a local handcrafted chocolate company ChocoSol, who will use the kakai flesh and seeds in a special edition chocolate bar this fall. Stay tuned! Pumpkins are particularly high in beta-carotene, manganese, and B-complex group vitamins like folates, niacin, vitamin B-6, thiamin, and pantothenic acid.
